In the Argentine tango world, the simplest meaning of tango salon is social tango.
We are avid social tango dancers. And, we have a meticulous approach to teaching the mechanics of Argentine tango - with an emphasis
on posture, floorcraft and musicality. In addition to our weekly tango classes, we offer workshops in classic tango themes and
special topics - such as Milonga, Tango Techniques, Canyengue (vintage
Argentine tango), Tango Doble Frente, Tango Embellishments, and Transitions in the Embrace (from close to open and vice versa).
Guest Teaching and Performing
We have enjoyed teaching and performing near and far:
Atlanta, Augusta, Columbus, Macon, LaGrange, Milledgeville, and Rome, GA
Auburn and Montgomery, AL
Nashville and Knoxville, TN
Charlotte and Wilmington, NC
New Orleans, LA
Jensen Beach, FL
Newport Beach, CA
Kauai and Big Island, HI
As Argentine tango performers, we extend our social dancing to fit the
setting and event - visually communicating the intimacy of the partnership
and richness of the music - often with larger and more complex movements than the social dance setting permits. To contact us for
teaching and performing at your event, please e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org
or call 404-325-1360.
