Argentine Tango with Rick and Lynda Wilson

Based in Atlanta, Georgia, we have been dancing tango for over 15 years, and teaching in Atlanta and neighboring cities for over 10 years. We have had the privilege of studying with many tango masters in the U.S. and in Buenos Aires. We travel to Buenos Aires about once a year, to immerse ourselves in the tango culture and the porteño culture. And, we have the great pleasure of hosting Barrio Norte milonga, one of Atlanta's regular tango parties. Whether dancing socially or performing, our range of tango movement is broad - employing close-embrace, open-embrace, and everything in-between.

Level II - Beginner/Advanced Beginner Class This class includes ongoing review of tango fundamentals - its posture, vocabulary, music, and navigation - and movements that prepare the dancer for the Level III class. No partner needed. Those brand new to tango should take the monthly Tango Immersion - Fundamentals Workshop, or a private lesson, before joining in this class.

Level III - Intermediate/Advanced Class Command of basics required. No partner needed. Skilled dancers are encouraged to join in the 8pm class, and stay until 11pm to practice.

Guided Practice An opportunity for tango dancers of all levels to practice with different partners, and receive assistance from Rick and Lynda.
