Tango Class & Birmingham Milonga

Class with Lynda Wilson, 5:30 - 6:30 pm: Milonga - a few basics and a few fancies! A multi-level class focusing on movements to enjoy in the folksy rhythm of milonga(pssst....you may want to use these movements in your tango and vals). Familiarity with tango fundamentals is expected. Please arrive a few minutes early to check in, change shoes, and be ready to roll at 5:30 pm. West Coast Swing

West Coast Swing - 3 weeks - class & practice

Parking:  behind the Curb Market next door, between the market and the Arts Center, between the Arts Center and Cramton Bowl. Use the Madison Avenue entrance.
Fees & Shoes: Come a few minutes early on 7/16, to park and pay fees, $45 per person/series - cash, check or credit card. Bring shoes that allow you to pivot - low to medium heels are recommended, or thick socks; bring some water.

Details: an Argentine tango party on the second floor of the Learning Arts Center; plenty of parking; $10 cover - cash/check only(no credit card, no Venmo); light refreshments provided - additional snacks are welcome; casual/dressy attire; come dance, watch, and mingle with local and visiting tango dancers; bring your joy, your art, and your friends!
